The conference will take place between September 8–11, 2015, at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdańsk, which is located at the newly established Gdańsk University Campus in Oliwa. The Conference will comprise six topic sessions which are as follows:
- Natural variation and phenomics
- System and synthetic biology
- Plant development and gene regulation
- Plant–microbe interactions
- Plant responses to abiotic stress
- Social and commercial aspects of contemporary biotechnology.
Lectures within each sessions will be presented by highly renowned Invited Speakers, followed by speakers selected from the submitted abstracts.
The last session will focus on commercial aspects of biotechnology and will include presentations given by the representatives of both, academic and industrial environment.
The conference participants will have the possibility of presenting their research during two poster sessions.
The registration for the Conference is free of charge, yet additional fees will be required from those who wish to participate in the conference dinner and/or excursion (details can be found in the registration form). Please be aware that the number of participants at this conference is limited and the places will be allocated on the first register – first serve basis.
